We offer Student Development workshops!
The Aviation Institute of Maintenance supports you in your efforts to prepare your students for their life after high school. Our interactive workshops are designed to reinforce your curriculum, while also provide students with educational options that they may have never considered. We can tailor these workshops to run anywhere from 30-90 minutes, depending on teacher preference. Best of all – it’s complimentary!
Careers 101 presents steps in the job hunting process that lead to getting an interview. In this interactive presentation, students will explore from A-Z how to be prepared for the entire process which can lead to a position that could change their lives. Students will learn about interview scripts, types of interview questions, as well as, partake in a mock interview during this highly engaging presentation.
The Presentation of You is a workshop geared towards presentation skills. Sometimes who we are does not line up with how we present ourselves to others. In this interactive presentation students will explore what it means to present themselves in a way where others can have the BEST picture of who they really are. The focus of this workshop is about communication, becoming the CEO of you and how students can brand themselves. Students will also have the opportunity to present to their classmates what they learned in the workshop. This is an encouraging yet informative presentation.
